Picking Cherries

Ok, so if you look back through previous blog posts, you will realise that I seem to have a habit of making horizontal cards, compared to vertical... its not that I have a habit of it, so much, but more that I find making vertical cards difficult! I need a lot of inspiration!

Today, I sat down and 'forced' myself to create a vertical card, using a scrap DSP piece. This is what I came up with. Pretty simple and basic and I didnt even open an ink pad or use any stamp sets, but I think it looks better than I was expecting it to!

Believe it or not, this was the first time I have ever used the Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, and I think its a ribbon I may have to buy more of!

CS: Real Red, Pretty In Pink
Other: Summe Picnic DSP, Red Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, Dimensionals

Looks great Mel. I have the blue stripped Grosgrain but haven't managed to use that yet.
