Some New challenges

After a couple of weeks of not having enough time, I got to play along in Keesh's challenge for this week! And it was a colour challenge, to use Regal Rose, Rose Red, Sage Shadow and Whisper White. I personally think this card is a bit 'in-ya-face' but I really wanted to use the Wild about You and the Paisley background stamp. Here is Keesh's blog (http://makeeshabyl.com.au). The sketch I worked with is from Taylored Expressions (http://tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com) and is challenge #53
And this challenge is by Leah, whose work I love, but I dont often get the chance to play along in her challenges! Even though they are monthly, which should make it easier to play along for me, I keep putting it off 'until next time I get the chance'.
You can see more of Leah;s work on her blog here (http://stampinwithleah.blogspot.com)

Some Old Challenges

I have been so busy lately with being back at work! But this weekend, I am dedicating to catching up! On new and old challenges, my future challenges, Technique Tuesdays and a few other things! So to start, here are a couple of old posts...

This card was made for Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #54. You can check out Taylors blog here (http://tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com) This card was made for Keesh's challenge from last week, Inkspirations Sketch Challenge #4. You can see Keesh's fantastic blog here (http://makeeshabyl.com.au)
I hope you enjoyed these challenges, I will be back to post some current ones a bit later!

Makeesha's Challenge

Makeesha set a colour challenge this week. I am not entirely happy with the card, but maybe thats because I am really unhappy with my camera, and the card is really fine! I cant take a good photo of anything! Bloody settings!

Anyway, here is my entry: CS: Chocolate Chip, Ruby Red, Blue Bayou and Very Vanilla
Inks: Ruby Red, Blue Bayou
Stamps: Heartfelt Thanks, Baroque Border
Other: Ruby Red & Chocolate Chip markers, Dimensionals, Standard Wheel handle, Piercer

Leah's Challenge

Leah set a great challenge over at her blog (http://stampinwithleah.blogspot.com) which ends on the 26th January.
The primary colours she set were Basic Black, Whisper White, Going Grey and More Mustard. I know, a strange combo, right? Thats what I thought, too, until I pictured this card in my head and got making it this evening! I am pretty happy with how it turned out overall!CS: More Mustard, Going Grey, Basic Black, Whisper White
Inks: Basic Black, More Mustard
Stamps: Petal Prints, Short & Sweet
Other: Spiral Punch, Slit Punch

If you get the chance, head on over to Leah's blog and play along in this challenge! Its heaps of fun!

Keesh's first challenge of 2009!

Here is my entry to Makeesha's sketch challenge this week and I think it makes for a nice, simple masculine card!
I've used a whole array of colours (Sahara Sand, Brocade Blue, Always Artichoke & Whisper White CS, Not Quite Navy marker and Always Artichoke & Going Grey ink pads) as well as some brads, punches, dimensionals & piercer
