I must have been on my high horse from my birthday yesterday or something, but the story of my meanness unfolds below...
One of the many reasons why we holidayed now, straight after Convention, was that we would have the chance to see my little brother play rugby at for his school, something which I havent done since he was about 7 (he is now 14, going on 15!). Unfortunately he hurt his back slightly last week, and was going to sit this game out due to his own feelings, as well as his coaches. Me, having come all that way, and really wanting to see how good he had gotten, went to speak to his coach, put the whole 'i've come all this way to see him play blah blah blah' out on the table, and no joke, within 30 seconds of him going onto the field, he did his knee. The doctor thinks it may be ligament damage... After I ran to the field to see if he was ok, among a few profanities aimed at me, I am sure, he said "I told you I shouldnt have played". Oh well, he is feeling a bit better today, and even got out of his cross country tomorrow, so I secretly think he is happy about that ;) The swelling has gone down a bit, but it is still quite big and he has a specialist appointment on Monday. Poor fella.
Onto a happy note - I had another birthday yesterday, and this is the card Grant and Will bought me...
The inside sings Tina Turner's 'You're Simply The Best' and they bought me an NRL NQ Cowboys shirt.
